How a Mini-Split Works
A mini-split system consists of an outdoor compressor and indoor air handling unit. It's easy to install and only requires making a 3-inch hole in your wall. This conduit connects the two units and carries the power and communication cables, copper tubing, and condensation drain line.
A Great Solution for All Types of Homes
Mini-split systems work well for the whole home. Install them during new construction. They are also great retrofit add-ons to houses that have ductless heating systems, such as hot water heat; radiant panels; and wood, kerosene, and propane heaters.
If you are building an addition where expanding ductwork is not feasible, or you simply want an energy-efficient home, mini-splits are the perfect solution.
